Great Product

The camping oven is great, we used it last weekend and it works as it should.Its light weight to carry and folds away well.The toaster doesn't grill the bread evenly but really didn't matter to me.Great item and would recommend to anyone.

This is an extremely efficient outdoor cooker which is suitable for Fishermen, family picnics, Car Camping, Scouts, Kayakers, wilderness / Disaster / Earthquake or Survival kit, Caravaning camping gear or for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Cost-FREE to run! Never worry about running out of fuel again. Simply gather deadwood, twigs, dry grass, pine cones or whatever natural fuel you find lying around in the area and you can bring 6 cups of water to the boil within a matter of minutes while at the same time (and using the same fuel) cook small amounts of food over the chimney (using the pot on the support) as the kettle boils. Hence, a very small amount of fuel will both boil your water for hot drinks, washing up, personal hygiene, etc. and cook your meal at the same time! This kit works in ALL weather conditions.

If more than 1.5ltr pints of boiling water are required (this kettle will easily and quickly boil water for 10-14 people within a matter of minutes) simply refill the kettle with water and place it back on the firebase. Refuel the chimney again and your kettle will boil again within approx. 3-5 minutes.

It does the business

i have used my kettle about half a dozen times with the cooking attachment. A hot cup of tea and a bowl of soup in minutes using a couple of handfuls of dry twigs for fuel. I loathe thermos flasks and this is a great alternative. It is much better than a gas stove and much cheaper to run. I certainly do not regret buying one.

Excellent product

For many years I have been after the stainless steel version. Most others are aluminium. Unfortunately the company sent me the smaller size, as I needed to use it they refunded the price difference. The kettle boils very quickly and is easy to use. Great for a brew out in the fields. Would recommend very well built and easy to clean.

Magnificent piece of kit, but you do have to pay for that

My stove needs were simple: robust gas stove, excellent stablity on rough terrain, good adjustable flame so it can do a decent fast brew en route and simmer a meal in the evening. Size/weight was not a big concern as it was day walks/climbs and canoe trips that were planned. If it could last a good many years then all the betterThe MSR Windpro has been around for a while now and it is pretty proven kit. What you get for your money is a nicely made (in the good ole US of A) stove with solid components and typical Amercian build quality (ie solid but a little lacking in the subtle touches). Price is quite high for what it is, and in the US you can get it for the same £ price in $Performance is hard to fault though, other stoves might be slightly quicker but none are as stable and quiet. Build quality, likewise, is hard to fault, you get the impression (from it and user reviews ) it will last as long as you care about using itOther choices in the market for a remote canister stove can be had for a lot less money, but what you are buying is a simple, solid (almost jewel like) stove with tiny weight/proportions with a good pan capacity and a great preheater (so UK winter is not a problem, unless below -10C is on the cards). It is still about the lightest you can buy, so would suit back pack use well I guess (but that is not an area I know much about)Stuff I dont like. The wind shield and base are folded aluminium and look like they wont last long (Aluminium typically fatigues and then cracks real easy, replacements are £15. Hinged designs should outlast these) but maybe they will last and I am being paranoid. There is no piezo ignition, so plan on taking a couple of lighters. The design also folds the legs over the gas hose whereas if it folded in the opposite direction it wouldnt do that - a design niggle from a purist maybe. The box also says includes 'small parts kit' but that is just a spanner for the MSR gas stoves. In use I also notice the nuts that hold it all together get very tight and start to bind slightlyOverall, it is so small and light you can pop it inside your cook pan and you wont even notice you have it. EN417 fitting gas isnt the cheapest, but you are buying the safety of self sealing canisters (and the lightness of the stove). If you want cheap gas get an Edelrid adaptor and use 99p pierceable canisters if you must but you will loose the tiny proprtions and weight

VERY RELIABLE GAS STOVE

This is a very good stove with an adjustable flame and it comes in a compact red triangular plastic sheath which is easy to fit inside a trouser pocket. It is easy to carry, lightweight and well made. I have used it with other gas canisters besides MSR and without any problems. Note that it does not come with a gas canister, you will need to buy this separately. Although the flame is strong and will quickly heat food / drink, a strong wind can mean much of the heat is lost. I had thought about buying one of the metal mini stove surrounds you can buy from camping shops, however the instructions recommend you don't use this from a safety point of view. Other than this, I cannot fault this stove at all. I am going to keep it in my car boot for emergencies and I intend using it for short camping trips. Recommended.

Outstanding kit.

Tough quality construction. Additionally the belt-sheath ensures that the cuttlery is always at hand.In the picture the quality of the knife looks questionable - this is not the case.Of all the camping cutlery I've considered this is the BEST.Also delivery was next day.Simply brilliant.

KFS not great for KFC

Its a simple, very basic design, with the implements folding out and holding position from their handles by friction. Rather than the more secure lock knife safety. That said it is very secure when new.The heads are large, equal to proper dining cutlery, which is good. The handles are thin and needed a slightly more ergonomic touch for better purchase when eating. So small bites.

Usual Esbit quality

Since the invention of ground coffee bags there is no practical justification for this coffee maker, and lightweight backpackers will be horified by the weight. However, if real coffee making, as a ritual, is important to you then this is the luxury item to include in your kit. Beautifully built, and effective.

We were very happy with this product having taken it on our first camping trip for years. It ingeniously packs down quite small & in its own bag.It feels quite sturdy & does the job well- liked the hooks & side pocket too. Wd love to get more simple shelving to match it...

Have just unpacked kitchen,it didn't come with any instructions.But it really does just fold out & is ready to use.Have been looking for kitchen for a year wanted it to be big but not complicated.Chose this as it has two work surfaces & I can't seem to travel light so will be boon to keep things on & under.Bag very sturdy.am thrilled.It is not too heavy to carry & folds neatly with room for shelf.Clever design,worth the wait of searching

Very easy to assemble with a good qualtiy storage bag. Very easy to pack up, quite compact and fairly sturdy.
